The players range in age from late teens to adults. Some of the players are ex-pupils or staff of Foxwood School and were in the original line up.

Regular guest percussionists: Joe and Alan

Two players [Donna and Amanda] are presently abroad. Sue is on maternity leave and John is resting. Nicki is raring to rejoin.
The players’ occupations range from schoolteachers to office, pub, health, charity and shop workers One is a child minder and one is still at school. One is a debt counsellor. Several players play in other bands: steel and rock/indie. Nearly all the players play at least one other instrument and/or sing.
Most of the players play most of the pans, which means that Foxwood can accept gigs without checking exactly who is available. So no two gigs are ever the same. All of the band contribute to the arrangements of the songs, and everybody has a say in the repertoire. Instruments used are sopranos [tenors] - both C and D, double tenors, seconds [single and double], guitars, cellos, basses [tenor, triple and low], drum kit and assorted percussion.
